Every Child needs to live a decent life. The poor children have little hope due to unfavourable condtions they live in. With your support, we can impact as many children as possible through education, shelter, food, clothing and healthcare.

Solace Africa is a charitable Organisation that was founded by university students from Uganda Christian University in 2015. It started as a self-help initiative at university, helping many students faced challenges with tuition fees, leading to dropouts from university. The pioneers launched a “Save a Buddy” initiative to fundraise for financially challenged students, helping over 100 students escape university drop-out. After graduation, we sought to extend this philanthropy to young children — street and homeless children, orphans, poor children, and children with disabilities. We were joined by our friends from the Netherlands (Paula and Maartje). Paula had sponsored one of our Team Members with school fees and other needs throughout University.
I commend Solace Africa School efforts to release children from poverty through education, having analysed their school Proposal which was presented to me a few months ago. I have been helping street children with money and food. The increasing number of poor children coming to streets of kampala everyday is alarming. I support the proposal to build a school where all these children can get free quality education and other life skills. I have supported them and I believe you can also support this genuine cause.
I sponsored one of the members of Solace Africa, who was struggling to pay university Tuition. During my internship in Kampala, the Team Leader at Solace Africa helped me edit my academic work in English. He later introduced me to the Organisation and I contributed over $ 300 to the cause. We carried out several community outreaches, visiting poor villages of Uganda, donating books, pens, toys and giving children hope. Although I had another Organisation through which I support poor children in Uganda and Kenya, I was happy to help and being part of their vibrant Team was a great experience.
I got to know about Solace Africa through Bluesky, by following their page. I interacted with Sam, one of their coordinators and he told me more about what they do. I currently have a street child in Uganda that I have been helping for 3 years, paying for his school fees, shelter, food, clothing and medical bills. I am happy to relate with Solace and impressed about the impact they're making in destituted communities of Uganda.
